I have a simple table with a single time dimension, Period, in format Mmm YYYY
I also have a single measure, Val
I want to create a simple chart with two expressions.
One will show the Sum(Val) for a selected period (or total Sum(Val) for all periods if no period selected) - straightforward enough.
The second will show the Sum(Val) for the YTD up to and including the selected Period. Again, this will simply show the total Sum(Val) of all periods if no selection made.
But I want this to work for any period selection (so max(Period) is not an option as the selected period will not necessarily be the latest period.
Any ideas?
