Help - Your installation of Qlikview has exceeded the maximum number of 4

Hi everyone,

I need to open qvw files created by the same user on one pc - unfortunately someone tryed to open some other files (for test) and now qlikview tells that the amount of opened files (4) has been exceeded. Is there any way to get ONLY 1 more chance to open personal file ? I will not never need to open other file than mine so it's very expensive to get a full license.

Any help will be appreciated.

For trial version qlikview gives only 4 trial to open qvw created by other users, so you cant get 1 more chance.

But you can Uninstall qlikview from your laptop and reinstall it, you will get more 4 trial to open file.

I believe you have to reinstall the QV personal edition to see your file.

Yes, after uninstall(Clear registry) and again reinstall.

What QV version you have?

I also need to check with QV12 because i've done this long back with qv10/11 version.

Also, Suppose if you've opened test.qvw file before uninstalling qlikview and after reinstall rename test.qvw to test1.qvw and now try to open that file.

Now I'm using version 12.10. But i'm leasing license from server, so I can't check in my laptop.
