Help

Hi All ,

Can someone explain me  how it is working ?

STEP 1 :

There is a  QVW file file and at the script they have  fetched the data and stored all files as QVD  in a perticular folder .

STEP 2:

There is one more QVW file creayed from QVD's , which has all the reports  and  this is placed in the SERVER

My Question :

in the Access Point i see the final dashboard  with all the reports , and in Qlikview Managment Console there when the data reloads every night 12:am how will it reflect the final dashboard in the Aceess Point. becuase it has the data coming from QVD's?

Thanks in Advance

Okay. It looks like you one QVW works as data extractor & generates QVD. Another application (qvw) will reload all QVD on successful completion of the earlier task. You can see these things in QMS - Status-Task

Is QVD & Application both sitting in same server ? If so then there might be a task reloading the application after successful creation of QVD.

Another option, QVW application might be triggered from external task after certain time of successful load of QVD
