Hide control in Tab of Container

I have Container control with two tabs .

I first tab there is chart control and a Textbox. On click of Textbox some action is performed.

But this Textbox also visible in Tab2.

I wanted to hide the Textbox in second tab as it is not related to second tab.

IF you don't want to show this 2nd text box why dont you just delete it? Or if you just want to hide it and reuse later, just go to Textbox properties -> Layout tab -> Check Conditional radio button and type 0.

Unfortunately, the selected tab and the tab selection action are not exposed to the front end in any way, so you cannot use conditional show to show/hide the textbox according to the tab selections.

The best workaround that I know is to not use containers - use Tab1/Tab2 buttons (or text boxes with actions) to set one or more variables, and use conditional display based on the variables for on all the objects formerly in the container. Your text box can then react to the buttons using conditional display as well.
