How do I create a caculated field with a result to show between a range of two numbers?

Hi community

I am trying to create a calculted field which shows only cost centres >= 9950 and <=9960.

1.     The total range of numbers available are 0000 to 9999

2.     The pivot table needs to show only cost centres including 9950-9960

3.     I have tried the following; CostCentreName >=9950 <=9960 but returns this message in the field '//Error in calculated dimension

Any ideas will be very much appreciated.
