How do I make my slider values more pleasing to the eye?

Please see attached screenshot.

I've got a slider, which is selecting a column from one of my tables.

The columns goes up from 0 to about 1913370.

I would like my slider to show some sensible increments, at least some round numbers.

How do I avoid the attached?

You can change the interval step on the General tab. First check Continuous/Numeric mode, then Check Static step and fill in a value.

Hi,

You can also use a custom scale to limit how many values are displayed on your slider and which marks/points actually display values over them.

Just go to the Slider object-Presentation tab and select Use Custom Scale option.

You can define how many major Units you want the slider to display and choose other parameters according to the amount of data you want the slider to display.

Generally for a large number of values, I personally prefer setting the number of minor units to 0. And sort them by ascending numberic value.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

-Khaled.
