There is no fixed number of tabs should be used in project .
it depends on ur no of tables . if u have 6 tables use 6tabs(each table in one tab) or load all tables in single tab.
naa projectlo 8 tabs use chesthunna .
Hi alekhya,
As long as you arrange the tabs in a way that makes logical sense you should be fine, such as:
1 tab per table
or
1 tab per data source
If you find yourself having to search for a particular load statement too much you might want to rethink how your loadscript is arranged into different tabs.
I have seen developers create apps with over 20+ tabs.
If you have too many tabs you will get a scroll buttons:
The number of tabs you can fit will depend on the screen resolution you have.
The vague answer is 'it depends' , but I would use how easy you find it to make changes to the loadscripts and how much searching is required as a guideline to the number of tabs.
It is no good if you get to the bottom of a tab and can't remember what was at the top.
Also, if you find yourself creating too many tabs you could also create qvds and keep the load of the final qvw very simple.
Thanks
Mark
