Hi,

I have developed a qlikview file and want to deploy it on server.

I have tried to specify the mounted folder and path of file but it's not showing at the access point.

Help required.

Hi

What could be the reasons if I am unable to see my folder on access point?

Can it be linked to any permissions or is it just related to path of folder?

Thanks

Saurabh

Hi,

Show us a screen shot of your Document Folder in Qlikview Management Console.

Try to copy the qvw to the root folder, to test if it is visible without being in a sub-folder or mounted folder.

If that works, then you should use a mounted folder.

If the document is not visible in the root folder, then check if it needs any other files for it to compile or update.

Also, if you have implemented Document Security(Section Access), then it wont be visible. Make sure you have access to the document within the Security tab, if at all.

If this helped you, please mark as Helpful. If it solves your issue, please mark as Answer

Hi,

That must work.

If not \restart your Qlikview services once.

Let me know if that worked.

Hi All,

Thanks for response.

I have found the solution.

I would like to tell as it may help somebody else

1.After specifying root folder and mounted folder

2.Go to Documents->User Documents

3.Select qvw

4.Go to Authorization and specify required permissions.

I was not able to view qvw due to unspecified authorization for qvw

Thanks

Hi,

Just to add to Saurabh answer .This is the case when your server is configured in DMS mode.

With NTFS it should work without any issue with the above suggestions.
