How to increase the "Field Text"(comment)limit

Hello Team,

How to increase Comment text limit in qlikview.

As of now I am able to see only 255 character in qlikview.

I don't think that this will be possible. Further I'm not sure that this is a very suitable place for long desciptions else for short informations about the source and the aim of a field. And you could use it for each dimension/expression. If you need to explain something more you could use the comment within the tab title which could display as much as fits on the screen (creates a ? sign within the title-bar).

For what purpose you want more than 255 characters in comment line?

if you want to provide a detail level description about the dimension ,it is better to create a Text box on right hand side

of your chart just like a Landing page Description.

Hopefully, we don't have any option for this.

as per my knowledge it is not a good practice to show this much of comments front end level.

Ex:
