Inserting text in Straight table

I need to add text in straight table...

But i dont see any option available for that.

Can anybody help me on that..

you can use the helptext in the straight table to display your text

It is not possible, the best option is create text object and display whatever the text you want, if you do this you can format the text like font, size, color as per your wish.

Hi Jagan,

Thats fine but issue is i have a container object and in that container i have 4 charts.

i have to display the same text for only 2 charts.

if i take a text object below the container it will be displayed for all the charts in the container.

i have to display for only two charts in the cointainer.so i thought of adding text to the chart instead of taking a text object on the sheet.

If you are using a container,then we can diaplay our text object based on for which chart is has to be displayed

by conditional display of text object.

Hi,

I think there is no function to get the current container object.  So it is not feasible.  Instead of using Container create buttons and variable, based on button click show and hide the Charts and text object.

Hi Reshma,

Can you brief me how to write the condition?

Let say i have a chart 243 and i have to disply the text when i have actrivated that chart tab.

and chart 123 for which i have to hide the text when i clicked on that tab.

Chart Properties->Caption->Help text.

We can enter the text required on the charts.

so that on mouse over we can see the text.

You can do this by adding text in Totals and selecting option Totals in Last Row

Instead of inserting text in chart why you are not using the functionality given in QlikView which is Help text

Go to chart properties -> Caption tab

write whatever info you want in help text

Now in your chart caption just do mouse over on ? symbol, so that whatever info you want will be visible on mouse over

try with the help text option in the CAPTION tab of chart properties ..when you enable this it will add a ? in the caption if the user want to view this info then they need to click on this
