Interface to populate charts from other applications

Hi,

Is there any way to create an interface from which we can make the required selections and then those selections will be used to apply filters on other applications, get the required charts and paste it to output PPT?

Hi Marcus,

Our requirement is a little different. Because of document chaining, we have three different applications and we need to generate a ppt from the data present in all the three applications. Hence, we need an interface which can be used to pass on user selections in respective dashboard.

I think it will be better to look on tools like NPrinting then building such features himself, by using the above mentioned link and various similar postings on automated exports, would be possible but is far away from trivial and needs some efforts.

Maybe it's easier to simply it by a logical split from (chained) apps for analysis and apps which will only serve export and printing reasons.
