Keep blank value fields

Hi Community, 

PLease find the attachment of the QVW file . 

I have table and a filter selection , My requirement is like when you make selection from the filter (List Box) the table 

should show the Sct 1, Sect 2 and Sect 3 as it is even if there is no data . 

But current behaviour is like :

When I select any department then the table will diplay only those value which it has . 

I have even unchecked suppress null values . Show Value wil show one extre filed which should not show .

hi 

on your section dimension 

check both - 

show all values 

suppress when value is null

and you'll get what you want

I followed your steps but could not achive . 

It will show only Sect 2 and Sect 3 and hides Sect 1 . 

I want to show all the Sect even if there is not data .

i didn't find any solution with the current data format 

you could create dummy records for each option , so you want encounter this 

i'll try to see if there is a work around it

if you check only the "Show all Values" tickbox it should work

then you will always see all sections even if there is no data:

at least it works for me here. tested in QV 12.3 SR2
