Hi there,
I'm using a LED gauge to show a ratio.
When I do not select any dimension (which is logical for a gauge), the resulting LED remains "---" but the expression in the Graph's title is correct ...
If I select a dimension, the LED gauge shows a results, but not equal to the expression in the Graph's title ...
I must be missing something, but what??
Gauge charts do not require a dimension, in fact having a dimension is often confusing as the value shown is the value of the first row in the corresponding straight table. For a LED gauge to show --- i would assume your expression evaluates to NULL, so not sure how the title still works but maybe they are slightly different.
thanks for your answer.
the Title uses the "first expression's label" (or something similar, I have QV in French so I must interpret the English version) ...
Now, I must admit that my expression is maybe a bit strange
=count([ABC])/count(distinct([ABC]))
count([ABC]) gives me the number of time an action has occured, while count(distinct([ABC])) gives me the number of people who undertook that action ...
Don't know if that helps ... ;o)
Change the default NUMBER format to INTEGER. The LED display, will null out if you have too many digits..
