Learn and master Data Modeling for Qlikview

I understand that data modeling is a KEY skill to be a QV developer. My data modeling is rusty and I want to refresh it and also become a master. Are there any beginner/intermediate level books for this ? Would a SQL data modeling book be a good alternative for this ?

Hi John,

In the book Qlikview 11 for Developers there is a chapter on 'Data Modelling'. That should give you a very good idea.

Another book I would suggest is 'Qlikview Scripting' by Matt Floyd.

I've used 'The Data Warehouse Toolkit' to learn how to model data. It's not a QlikView book but I thinl it's a good lecture.

Thanks. Good suggestion. I have looked into his ETL books and I am not a fan. This one looks better though after a quick glance. Wondering if there are any alternatives to this book.
