License issue

we have a server license with 10 CAL. all the development was done on server earlier.now i want to use my machine to do the development.i have 1 CAL aasigned to me.Can i open the document which are not created by me .

Yes, you need to lease a license first by opening a document in the server. You'll then be able to open all documents locally.
