Hi,
I need to see the user who have any kind of access to qlikview server, is it enough to check in the assigned named CALS.
or is it possible that a user may have access even without it? if so how to get that information?
You can use this app:
https://community.qlik.com/servlet/JiveServlet/download/5281-18-111282/QVSCALManager.qvw
See details here:
What kind of licenses are you using in your environment? Also session CALs?
And how do you define 'any kind of access to qlikview server'?
Also accessing the server e.g. on shared folders? Remote desktop?
Is it allowed to login into AccessPoint without being authorized to any QVW?
If you just use named Cal's and doc Cal's, this app will show the allocated licences.
Hi,
Thanks for your message.
But i cant install this, i will need some direct method.
Hi,
We have all Kinds of CALs in use.
usually access the server by remote but license leasing is allowed.
By any kind of access i mean, development access. i need to know which all user are doing any sort of developmet on the server via any possible license.
Only users who have leased a named cal can develop apps, unless any users have a standalone licenced copy of QlikView. Just because a user has leased a licence dies not necessarily mean that they have done any development or modifications to a live app.
If you wish to control development then it would be better to control who has access to the QMC via the QlikView administrative group on the sever, and who can modify/write files to your source and mounted folders.
Another option is Section Access which can restrict access to apps to authorised users only.
