Hi All,
I am facing a weired issue on log file generation. I have checked all the option which need to be checked for creating a log file but no idea why it's not generating. However since 20th of March i can see the log file has got generated but not after wards. I do also see one possible issue of not getting deleted the current log file. whenever I tried to delete the log file it says file might be open in another program where I have checked with team, No one has open that log file. Any idea or suggestion?

Close any open QV.exe in taskbar if it is not required and check any important reload is not running then reload the application and check log generation.

Thanks for your reply. Since I am running this task thru the QVPR so there is no qv.exe. it would only be a qvb.exe. I have tried stopping that as well but no luck.
Have you tried restarting the service and try accessing the logs?

Check mounting folder also xml files in the mounting folder in the application folder. May be any Ms-Office issue please check this also and yes try to stop all running qlikview services and again restart the services again.
