Can someone please tell me the difference between the MISSINGCOUNT function and the option to display the Missing Count within a Statistics Box?
I have 5000 missing Birth Dates in my data (I know for a fact). When I select 'Missing Count' within a Statistics Box looking a the Birth Date variable, I get zero.
However, if I create an expression within a chart (report) and do: MISSINGCOUNT(BIRTH_DATE), I get 5000 - which is correct.
I think this is happening with other variables as well. What is logic behind the 'Missing Count' Statistics Box option?
Has anyone else dealt with this?
