Make Cyclic Group searchable

Hello,

Is there any way you can add Search icon to a Cyclic Group in a Straight Table? It seems that 'Searchable' checkbox is only available for dimensions or expressions in Straight Table whereas for Cyclic Group this is not supported.

I tried to add a Search Object for a Cyclic Group and put it above the according column in the table but it doesn't look good from user's perspective. Please advise.

You can use Cyclic Group in a listbox to facilitate Search outside your chart

Yes, and I have a List Box that filters Cyclic Group values in the chart. But the problem is that my client wants to have a search icon next to Cyclic Group column in the chart itself - similar to how it works in Straight Table when 'Searchable' checkbox is selected.

Check

Properties -> presentation ->Click on Dimension -> Select Dropdown select opion

It would seem that Searchable option is only available to Expressions. I believe it is by Design.

you can however, add expressions to your Listbox making it function similar to a straight table

Searching is also available on Drop-Down option.

just does not looks like it, but searching is possible, click on dropdown arrow and type in your search string
