Not able to assign Document CALS to users

Hi,

I am not able to assign document cals to users. There are no CALs like the document has been deleted without releasing the CAL.

I have created a document and before deleting it I have already released the CAL and deleted the document. But I am not able to use the same CAL for any other documents. Its showing as below :

Document CALs allocated to document : 1

Document CALs allocated to Users : 0

Could any one help with the solution ?

did you put to 0 the number of cals allocated to the document before deleting it ?

No. Once after deleting the CAL I made it as 0

that's ok. i meant before deleting the document

are you sure there are no other documents with doc cals ?

try to use power Tools to list doc cals ans associated documents

I have other document as well. If I create document cals for the existing document that is working fine. But I am not able to do it for new documents

for me it means that the max nulmber of doc cals has benne reached

try to see for each existing documents the number of cals declared and the number assigned

try to decrease the number of declared and see if it's better

HI,

It seems that there are no free cals to allocate.The issue might be  the available server cals figure is zero .

Reduce the already allocated documents and save it.Then try ,it may work.
