Personal Edition Problem

Hi

Can any one help me ?

I use QlikView Personal Edition version 11.20.11718.0 SR1

I have created my own test document. After I closed the document and then immidiately re-open it again, it show this popup error message :

"Access Denied

The file was created by a licensed QlikView user and since you are using a QlikView Personal Edition you may not open this file."

I use the same PC and I open my own docment that I have just creted, I wonder why I can't open it.

Please any one help me.

Try also removing the QlikTech folders in the Local and Roaming folders in your users AppData folder (c:\users\myuser\AppData)

Have you also tried using a different folder to save your files? Is the prj folder automatically created there as well?

Thank you very much for your help.

I did as you suggest and it's work now !!!

- Uninstall QlikView

- Remove any QlikTech folder in  the Local and Roaing folders in C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\

- Remove any QlikTech and QlikView folder in the Registry

- Restart Computer

- Reinstall QlikView

When I create a new file, the "-prj" folder still be automatically created which preventing me to re-open my own file. But when I remove that "-prj" folder, I can re-open my own file. It's work now !!!

This worked perfectly fine for me. There was no need to uninstall the software.
