Pivot table totals

Neewbie question,

Working in a pivot table I would like to see totals in some of the columns (Dimensions (fields) as well as expressions).  There is a "totals mode" box on the expressions tab but it is unavailable ("grey'd out").  How do I get QlikView to add the totals to my pivot table?

If you have a pivot table you cheak th option into the proprierty -> presentation cheak shohw Partitional Sum.
