Production by staff's join date

Our company has 100 sales with different join date, we would like to do a simple analysis on their production by first quarter (by join month), second quarter (by join month) ...

Feasible to write an expression for this?

Hi,

I would prefer to do this in script as doing complex expression at front end will cause impact on dashboard performance when selecting  dimensions.

But what i need is different staff have different join data.  Using a master calander seems won't work for my case.  Do you understanding correct?
