QVW file in capital letters keeps appearing when assigning cals

Every time I assign a cal to my document, the QVW file names appears in the root of QMC in capital letters. I tried to remove the QVW file (and backed it up) after removing the cals then recreated the file assigned a cal, but it keeps reappearing.

Can anyone help?

Found it!

In QMC, folder settings I added the folder QVW to the path. But it did not need this. After removing QVW in the path reloading succeeded.

Qlikview server version: 12.0.20400.0

By the way, in the event log file I can see it is looking in an non existing path:

An exception (D:\Documents\Topdesk\QVW\QVW\Topdesk.qvw.Shared contains an incorrect path.) occurred during open of D:\Documents\Topdesk\QVW\QVW\Topdesk.qvw.Shared.

The .Shared file does not exist and it doubled the folder \QVW.

Hello Jose Miguel,

In the access point all the right documents appear (not the "ghost" document in capital letters).

This issues causes the reload task of this document to fail. When I look at the event log file you can see the cause of the problem: the path is not correct.

QVGeneral: Server - GetDocumentInfo: Failed at create/open document D:\DOCUMENTS\TOPDESK\QVW\QVW\Topdesk.qvw. GLE(The system cannot find the path specified.)

This path should be: D:\DOCUMENTS\TOPDESK\QVW\Topdesk.qvw (so without the extra QVW\).

Does anyone know where I can edit the file, registry, etc. to adjust this path?
