I have a file that needs to be added to a Qlik database every month. The spreadsheet contains about 20000 lines and 20 columns. I need to keep 13 months running data. Is that to large for Qlik to handle?
In one word: no.
In-memory databases: as long as there is ennough RAM available, you can keep adding data.
On disk tables and data models: as long as NTFS supports the file size, you can keep adding data to tables and data models.
In short: with respect to data, QlikView is only limited by the environment constraints. Actually there is only one limit imposed by QlikVeiw itself: you cannot have more than 2 billion distinct values in a single field.
Good luck,
Peter
