QlikView Connexion to Oracle Big Data Appliance

Hi everybody,

One of my prospect is going to deploy Oracle Big Data Appliance as it Big Data environment. He would like to Know if it is possible to visualize Data from this environment with QlikView.

As i never deal with this use case, your tips are more than welcome.

Hello Marcus,

Thank you for being as quicker as a thunder in your suggestion.

I can imagine that the QlikOdbcConnectorPackage woul do the trick as my concern will be how to use Oracle NoSQL as a QlikView Data Source.

More over, the package installing information does not notice QlikView 12, but only QLikView 11 and Qlik Sense 1 and 2.

Anyway, i will be back to share my experience.

The solution was simple :

>I first asked questions about data sources in OBDA. I t was Apache Hive in this case.

>Then, i created an ODBC connexion from DSN in Windows Administration tools and finally connected QlikView to deal with the Model and Viz.
