Qlikview report access

Do we need both qlikview and plug-in to access report/dashboard from access point?

Hi,

You have to install the compatible version of IE plugin in your machine.  If you are using latest Version of IE then you have to use latest version plugin.

Jagan.

No. You only need Plug-in if you are using IE and you don't need anything if you're using Chrome.

But in internet explorer 11, do we need to change any settings. Why because I am unable to see anything?

Can see in ajax mode.

I think so. Make sure that you're using the same settings (Firewall and Proxy settings ) as you were using before.

I don't see any other reason for your problem.

Hi,

You don't need to install anything to access dashboards from Accesspoint, if you want you can install IE plugin but it is not mandatory.

Are you able to ping the the URL of the Accesspoint in command prompt?   I think it seems to be a access issue.  Are you in the same network in which Accesspoint resides?

jagan.

Also make sure that you grant the users an access to the QVW file.  NT security access must be granted to users having an access to the QVW on the same Qliview server.  The type of access must be Read only

you don't need to install any thing even from IE by default it will open in Ajax mode.

make sure you ping the IP address from CMD

if you are not able to see any thing that means you are not in network.

any one can see the Access point home page though he don't have application access too so you must see Qlikview Home page (access point).

if possible share a screen shot with us

I can able to ping the IP from the client machine.

I installed SR10 plug-in, added the server IP in IE comparability view settings. Then I can able to see in internet explorer mode.

Is there a way see report without adding server details in IE comparability view settings.
