Quickly Discovering what Fields are in QVDs

Hi,

I have been trending some data for customer who is very frequently changing the breadth of what is contained in a data set.

Over Time we have had multiple fields added, renames etc. I have been storing daily the output into QVDs into one folder.

Is there an easy what to look through each file and find what fields exist in each ?

Otherwise I think I have a long job in front of me.

Thank you for your help and suggestions.

you may load a .qvd as .xml-file:

This will deliver all field- and tablenames (and much more valuable information)

Change the script to load multiple files, and you will have a fast overview on all files.
