Running Qlikview QVW locallly on Ipad without using Accespoint?

I got a question here.

Is it possible to run a Qlikview qvw application locally stored on a Ipad instead of using Accespoint?

I currently got an Qlikview application on Accespoint but the performance is quite slow.
Because im not able to change server settings on the short term, I was wondering whether it is possible to run this application locally on a ipad without any Accespoint connection. Also i read there were plans to make it possible possibilities to run a Qlikview applications offline for mobile devices. Are these possibilities available yet?

Thanks in advance!

No, not really.

QV is a Windows application, so you can't run it on iOS.

There is however a so called offline iOS app, but it's not really running QV with full features, it's more like a browser cache that allows you to only change selection in some 1 list boxes.

Hi, Stefan.

Apologies if you know this already - There are certain QlikView features that don't translate well to iPad such as multiboxes, scroll bars, small fonts. If you search for iPad Best Practices in Qlik Community you will see a number of articles covering QlikView functionality for mobile devices.

Regards,

Neil.
