SVGMap extension not showing on browser (access point)

Hi All,

I have read numerous old posts about this, but couldn't find any solution to address my issue

My problem is that I can't see SVGMap extension in browser (on qlikview desktop application It works fine),

Technical info on my problem:

QV 11.20 SR12

System folder for extension is empty (meaning it's the default under %\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions

I placed the SVGMap Library under the above folder

Can anyone help out?

Thank you very much,

Nir

Hi Nir,

That doesn't look like the correct content to me, I have just downloaded and installed v1.10 of svgmap and there are 66 files in it, there are no svg files above.

Go to the folder that QV desktop is using, e.g

C:\Users\awhitfield\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects\svgMap on my pc and check files there and see if they are different, copy the contents to the server folder.

Andy.

Hi Nir,

You need a subfolder 'Objects', place the extension files in there:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects

Hi Nir,

1. Have you got allow extensions enabled?

2. Are you opening the QVW in the Full Browser Option in the access point? It won't work in IE Plugin.

Hi Nir,

do you have an Alternate extensive path set up? If so you need to remove it, System > Setup >Folders

OK,

send a screen shot of what you see with the qvw open in the access point, both IE Plugin and Full Browser version and the path of the folder containing the extension.
