Section Access + Password for Script changes

Hi,

I´m using section access with my application. Now I would like to protect my script from being changed. Therefore I would like to enter a password for my files that needs to be entered when somebody tries to see the script. User with Section access just using the application should not be affected. Is there a possibility?

Best regards

Carolin

Are these load scripts internal or external?

Internal scripts can be transferred in their entirety (copy'n'paste) to a Hidden script which is forcibly password protected. The modification has no impact whatsoever on users that are granted document access by way of SA.

Best,

Peter

Hi Carolin,

You can hide the script without affecting section access functionality.

There is one more way to do this. Just uncheck the 'Edit Scrip' option in Document Properties->Security.

Edit script icon will be hidden for user.

Thanks & Regards,
