I'm building my app and I need to create a section access to give to the users access to the app, but the thing is that in my project I have different zones and, for example, I want to give to the user JOHN privileges to see the app if the selection where ZONE1...

Is there any way to do this?

Yes, please refer to the REDUCTION field in the QlikView Reference Manual. It does exactly what you are looking for and there's also a script example included.

As Martin said, you need to create a SECTION ACCESS with one or several RESTRICTION fields.
