Send Horizontal Striaight Table To Excel

Hello All.

I have a Horizontally straight table (Chart Properties --> Presentation --> "Horizontal" checkbox is mark) - please look at attached file.

I need to send it to excel as is. i.e - Horizontally...

My problem:

If I send this table to excel (by clicking XL button, on Chart caption) I get:

DateSum(Rain)Count(Date)
01/01/2011301
02/01/20111212
03/01/20111183

And what I need to show (my expected result) is like the original straight table:

Date01/01/201102/01/201103/01/2011
Sum(Rain)30121118
Count(Date)123

I assume it's can be done via macro....

How can I do that?

(I can export to Excel and open the Paste Special dialog box, then select Transpose.... but I really don't want to this way...)

Thanks,

Matan.

Hi

You need to create a pivot table in this case and export the chart data as a excel then you got perfect export like you expected

Date01/01/201102/01/201103/01/2011
Sum(Rain)30121118
Count(Date)123

See my attachment file and export the pivot chart as excel and see the result. If you having any problems reply.

Anand

I have the same issue and this is a very good approach to resolve. However, I have long expression titles and I'm finding that in a pivot table, all columns must be the same width.  Is there a way to allow different column widths with pivot tables?  For example:
