Server Document - Access Denied

Hi ,

please help...

We have a new user, we gave him User cal, and documents authorization as usual.

he can connect to server, and see the authorized documents,

but when he try to open them  he gets the error message 'Access Denied'.

further more I see that his desktop client is still running personal addition and not  leasing a license..

any ideas?

Have you checked for some (unwanted) Section Access in the script of the document?

Pls. check whether you've enabled "Allow License Lease" and "Allow Dynamic CAL Assignment" in your QMC. Should be under System->Set-up->QVS->CAL tab.

Aforgot to write that 'Allow Licenese Lease' is enable.

Probably something with your user not being recognized as a CAL owner.

What ID is displayed in the top right Welcome message of the AccessPoint home page? Is it correct? Does it correspond to the account you assigned a CAL to?

Desktop license lease: your user should start QV Desktop, select File->Open in server and navigate to qvp://qlikviewservername. The moment a document listing is displayed, your user can switch to the Start page in Desktop. At the top right, a message displays license usage.

My user using desktop application, after documents displayed he's still on personal addition...
