Set variable by using a resident table

In the loading scripts, I have a resident table and inside the table I can extract a max(date) field.  And then I would like to use this date field to further filter out other tables in the later part of the scripts e.g.

MaxDate:

Load

Max(date)

Resident A;

<Let / Set scripts >

Result:

Load

Resident

Temp

Where date = vThisWeek ;

Can sample for aforesaid example?

Re: Set variable by using a resident table

If I understand you correctly, it sounds like you might want to use a peek statement to extract your max date field into a variable.

E.g.

MaxDate:

Load max(Date) as MaxDate

RESIDENT A;

LET vMaxDate = peek('MaxDate', -1);
