Show total in bar chart per month when subtype it´s grouped

Not sure which version of QV you are on, but check if you have 'Still Show Total on Top' on the presentation tab

In dimension limits -> show total for filed X

In colors -> special segment -> total -> make the color transparent

just a workaround.
