Size of qvw doc

Hello Community,

I'm new to qlikview and i need a clarification on the size((Roughly) of qlikview document in real time? Can anyone explain about on this.

Size of QVW was completely depends on the data loaded.

number of tables, fields and data.

With our data we can't estimate the size of QVW

Approximately for around 30L records the size will be around 800 MB to 1 GB

Hi,
I agree, too.
Since qlikview stores all the data in the qvw-file it depends on the records, no. of columns and type of columns. Long alphanumeric keyfields take a lot of volume while a flag with only 0 and 1 figures hardly needs any.
Also you can load pictures with the data or as background pictures etc....

what about 1 GB data And above ? Can u please  explain about bigdata ............

Dear Nagabhushanam,

If you directly load the 1 GB or more data, it takes time.

Create QVD file for speedup data load.

Please use QlikView Conncectors for BigData (Hadoop, Storm, MangoDB etc).
