Spaces between Listboxes in WebView

Is there a way to avoid spaces between 2 listboxes in both webview and desktop view?

No. There is no provision to set the location of one object based on another. Note that on the Caption tab there is no way to set the XY coordinates to anything other than a value.

As I said, there is no way to make that space dynamically zero, nada, nothing. You can get creative and make the outlines clear and transparent backgrounds, so it appears to be adjacent, but you cannot do what you are attempting and expect it to remain.

If someone has been able to dynamically make this work please chime in.

For me (QV 11.2) it worked either in desktop-client native and per webview and also within the ajax-client - there is no problem to put objects horizontally/vertically neatless together or even to overlap them. Whereby there is rather seldom a need to do it because a visual border between the objects increased the readability significantly.

Vibhu, you need to put your Desktop Client into WebView mode, make your List Box adjustments there, and then save things, that should get things displaying the way you want, the only thing of which I am unsure at that point is if you are not in WebView in Desktop, if that is then going to change the spacing there...  If you are most worried about Ajax client, then hopefully the Desktop view is not as big a deal.  I do not know if there will be a way for us to make it such that both are identical or not, would really need a sample app at that point to test things in order to see what we see...  Hopefully this helps you move things forward.

If you are not running the latest SR in the major release track, you may want to try updating to that as well just to see if that by chance addresses things or not as well.  You did not mention which major version you are on, so here is the list of most recent SRs for all the currently supported releases:

11.20 SR19

12.10 SR11

12.20 SR9

12.30 SR3

12.40 SR1

Brett
