Subtotal and Grand Total Issue in Pivot Table

Hello!  Pls. help me with my subtotal and grand total in my pivot table..

1.  My current formula  sum({<[Key Term] = {'*'} - {'WIP'}>}Value)  in Inventory sheet does not give me the correct total from the Inventory details sheet. When  I tried using the distinct formula sum(distinct{<[Key Term] = {'*'} - {'WIP'}>}Value), it did a correct calculation on some project ID but other still has the wrong total.  What's wrong with the formula?

2.  How can i get a subtotal  per owner and per projectID?  I tried using the partial sums like in owner column  but it gives me the total for all items...Is it possible to get a subtotal per item in a given field?  Like a subtotal for SMART items and vendor item...And I want another subtotal for item in projectID... How do I do this?  Thus my report woul be like an excel file where there is subtotal for every items in Project ID and Owner and a grand total for everything.

Thank you...

Hi,

Please check Updated pivot in the attached app. I guess it does solve your second point.

I am not sure what is incorrect in the first expression. If you can detail on what you want to achieve using the expression, maybe it would be easier to suggest.

Rgds,

What I want to achieve is a subtotal per iterm of the owner field....I want to show the subtotal  for each items of Owner field (SMART and vendor items).

Check the partial sum option for the MFR field.
