Hi everybody!
I have a chart with 3 dimensions and some measures in which I see Total for every dimensionand for the entire chart.
I copy it in another sheet, change the dimensions with other dimensions. I still have subtotals but the total for the entire chart disappears ... why?
Thank you in advance.
I Found how to do. In dimension I do EDIT, then re-write ex-novo the name of the dimension I want to be summerized. Thx to all
Have you applied an aggregation function around the attributes in your expression, like
=sum(Sales)
instead of only
=Sales
?
Cristina - Are you referring to Straight or Pivot chart? Are they linked objects? Do you have any calculated dimensions in new chart? Please post the QVW file and one of us can answer the question.

Every Measure is Sum(Measure)
It's a PIVOT CHART, thanks
Hi Cristina
i guess because the dimension you changed was the first one
when you change dimension you have to check again partial sums
Best regards
Chris
Just to make sure did you enable "Show Partial Sums" and "SubTotals" at top/bottom?
Yes, it is when I change the first dimension.
Then show partial is disabled. Having a lot of measures, any idea on how can I re-use my measueres? thx

when you modify dimension you remove it before creating a new one.
you use calculated dimension (edit, change field)
in this way, it is not considered a removing dimension
