Totals

Hey,

In straight table we can hide totals by clicking on 'no totals' in expression tab.But I want to know is there any way to display only totals and hide rows?

An idea is: Do not add dimensions for the details row

If I didn't add the dimension, then my expression will not work to give the total.

Can you send a sample document?

Hi why cant define another dimension one level upper to the current dimension

I would create an expression which only calculate the total and then may be format it in such a way that it looks like total row (if that is required). You can use aggregate function to get to your total.

If there was an example to show what I mean, it would make more sense.

Best,

If you just want to show the total not all the rows in charts .. you can use text boxed for each column and write your sum expression on that .. and then align the text boxes it will look like a table.

PFA, does this look like a potential solution?
