Trigger not working on access point

Hi All.

I have a Select in Field trigger on my Qlikview dashboard , which works on Activation of the sheet. So basically when you open the tab with the trigger, it will have a certain province already selected. This works perfectly fine on the document but after publishing to access point it doesn't work .What could the reason be? Thanks, Matlotlo

What is your client? If ajax, it might not work and that is known. Alternatively, you could try using buttons or text objects with actions for navigating sheets instead.

Are you hiding the tabs.

If you hide the tabs then the document triggers will not work for that instead of using triggers use actions

if you have any doubts on this mean please refer qlikview cook book there it is mentioned that triggers will not work in access point if you select the hide tab options in the document properties

use buttons, text objects for the actions not the triggers. use buttons to navigate the sheets and objects

even triggers will not work in webview if you  are hiding the tabs so please go through the actions

This issue will occur if you have disabled the tabs and are using buttons to switch between sheets. the triggers will not work if you dont have the tabs.

Try with buttons and actions on it.

If you are using the buttons to navigate to different sheets, then just add the trigger condition to the same button and it will work.

Remove trigger

Save and close the app

Open the app, create new trigger

Check.

Thank you all for your assistance. Yes I did find out that when triggers are applied to hidden tabs, it only works on IE plugin and not Ajax, our publishing environment defaults to Ajax. So I have removed the trigger and added the action on the button that activate the sheet so it works perfectly.
