Unknown statement

After  LET vStatement = '';  get Syntax error,  but  vStatement was already defined

Instead of Let try to use set keyword

Set vStatement = ''; 

Also the error might be due to some other statements and not the one you mentioned in post

It was “” character showing up instead of “ ”
