Vertical Text to be displayed

Hi Experts - Just wondering .. How to display the text box in vertical angle as shown below in qlikview..

You can't do that with a textbox but try this Trick

Create a Straight Table

          >> Add  Dimension = Valuelist('1')

          >> Now Give this dimension the label the Text that you want to be shown

          >> Go to Presentation tab

                    >> Check the Box  : Vertical Column Labels

something like below with text boxes and straight table

Its a llittle tricky, but this is what I do:

  1. Create a new bar chart with no dimension and expression =1
  2. On Presentation, click Add next to Text in Chart
  3. Add the text, updated the font of required and set the angle to 270 (rotate 90 anticlockwise)
  4. Select the chart, hold down SHF-CTRL to see the red bounding boxes for the objects in the chart
  5. Move the text object to the top telf and move the rest away from the top left
  6. Resize the chart so only the text object is visible (do this in stages as you will need to resize the red bounding box for the text object as it changes when the chart is resized)
  7. Turn off the caption (Properties|Caption)  (and border if required Properties|Layout)
