Why Local Account can login into QlikView Access Point but LDAP users can't

Hi!

I've recently installed QlikView Server on Server 1 and QlikView Publisher on Server 2.

Services were separated in this way:

Server 1

DSC Directory Service Connector

QVS QlikView Server

QVWS Web Server

Server 2

DSC Directory Service Connector

QDS Distribution Service

QMS QlikView Management Console

After configuration everything worked ok: reload, distribution, I could also assign Document CALs to end users.

If I enter the Access Point with QlikView Services Account (an Administrator one, the same name and password in both servers, but not a Domain user), I can access and see the documents.

However, when I try to access using a Domain account, after pressing OK, the login info is erased and the text "Your connection with this web site is not private" (in spanish in the image below) appears

LDAP is configured in both DSC and I can even search and pick up users from the Users Tab in QMC.

Any Idea would be really appreciated.

Do you only enter the username or the domain as well, i.e. just myuser instead of mydomain\myuser?

talk is cheap, supply exceeds demand

Hi Gysbert,

Thanks for your answer. I've tried with mydomain\myuser.

Cecilia.
