Why Thousand symbol, million symbol not available in Pivot Chart

In a chart, it is possible to add symbols for "thousand", "million" [number tab] in order to change 40 000 to 40 K.

Wouldn't it be nice to add the possiblity to add symbols ("thousand", "million") to the Num() function.

Num( A, '#,##0', '.' , ',', 'K') where A=35648 would returns: 36 K

The Thousand, Million etc. symbols display on the chart axis only.

Straight Tables and Pivot tables do not have any axis hence the symbols do not display.

You can add the functionality by using an action button to set a variable to 1, K, M and then using this variable in your expression to divide/round your figures.

Thanks your Reply.  Yes, your solution is what we are doing now. Issue is while user export data to excel, it's not the original numbers.
