Working with stacked bars

Hi All,

I am new to Qlikview and I wanted to create a stack bar with my X axis values from one column A. The values of each stack of the bar are represented by different columns namely X,Y and Z. Please help me add data to this chart. Please have a look at the diagram for better understanding.

Hi,

In the properties of the chart, go to the "Style" tab and switch from "grouped" to "stacked".

The stacked option is Disabled. I am not able to select this

This means you probably have only 1 expression.

Add the expressions that result in the other values. After that you can use the Stacked option.

Setting your chart to stacked in style properties will do the trick.

if you have x,y and Z in a column .i.e all in one column you can directly add it as dimension

I have added one dimension and 3 expressions as sun(x),sum(y) and sum(z). The stacked option is still disabled.

Are you sure you selected "Bar chart" on the general tab?

What version and service release of QlikView are you using?

Can you please attach a copy of the document?
