can anyone tell me if its possible to move the position of the login box and main logo on the accesspoint login screen?

Hi,

Possible you have to create your own custom page and replace that with Qlik ones.

But you have to make sure that QlikView does not support any such customization.

thanks, i know i have to create a custom page, but what i can't seem to do is move the position of the login prompt. i want to put it lower down the screen and i also want to move the logo to the upper centre.

does anyone know if that can be done please?

I am also aware that customisation is not supported by Qlik and i would need to change back to standard if i need support.

Hello hopkinsc,

You can customize everything in access point as long as you know how to do it.

You can file the files in your web server under C:\Program Files\QlikView\Web

There you can find all html pages used and images as well as .css files.

thanks, i have been playing about with the web folder and have found how to change certain parts. there are a few things which i am struggling with..

i am trying to change the layout of the screen with an image, but my image seems to appear on the screen several times (repeated across the screen), i am saving the image as bg_body which i am not sure is correct.

i also want to lower the login prompt but i can't seem to find where to do this, i have looked all of the files but cant seem to find any positions anywhere

Hello h,

The logo in access point is called logo_main.png. You can replace this image with yours. Bg_body is used for the grey background you see in Access Point. (you can open the images and check this yourself).

What do you mean with "lower the log in prompt"? everything related to log in is in files, FormLogin.htm, login.htm and login2.htm depending on what type of authentication you are using.

thanks, yes i have changes the logo but i also need to reposition it but i cant find how to.

i was trying to use bg_body as my new image for the screen which seems to work but it doesnt position the new image correctly, it instead positions it top left then repeats the image several times. i want it to just position the image full screen.

what i mean by lower the login prompt is that it is currently positioned in the centre of the screen. i want to lower it slightly so its positioned bottom centre. see images below..

Hi, it makes sense but you need to change the  html file and css file and this is a Qlikview forum If you want to customize your pages and you don't know how to do it, I would recommend you go to a html/css forum. I can't tell you more than this without doing the job for you. I go by the hour

No problem. It is possible. It would be easier if you don't have html knowledge to download a web editor.
