kh fou i say about x axe how i can format the date and display 2018 and no 1900?
I am changing at what level this is what is being done actually?
please!
what is the field or the expression used in dimension tab ? (this is what we see on X axis)
-> it seems that is it not a date in the year 2018
if it is a partial date (say day month), you have to format it with date() function to obtain a valid date
to see the values, create a listbox with this expression and show it in numeric format.
yes, add days is the right expression
accualy, you don't have dates to convert their formats but you durations in days (91 day) from origin date.
if your origin date is 1/1/2018 + 91 days, the date should be 2/4/2018
to sumarize, in order to convert to dates you need to convert your duration to date starting form origin:
date(date(Origin_Date) +91, 'MM/DD/YYYY')
That is the expression and the fiels is phase
(Max([End Date])) - (min ( [Start Date]))&' '& 'Jours'
if i Understand, this expression gives a number of day between 2 dates, and not a date
this is why you have 1 , 2 , .... and so on as value
don't you have a column with a date ti use as X axis (Start date maybe ?)
calculating the maximum duration?
try,
date(date([Start Date]) +(Max([End Date])) - (min ( [Start Date])), 'MM/DD/YYYY')
assuming that [Start Date] is the reference date, but this should be depending on the context
please provide a preview of your table and what are you calculating.
regards,
That is excel file, it has start date and end date ( 2018) but it is not display in qlikview
so, if you want to display the bar beginning at the start date, why dion't you use that column on your axis ?
