concat

Hi all,

I have a QVD File with following columns.

Month,

Year,

Quarter,

AccountNo

Account Desc

in my existing QVW i already have month year and Quarter.

But when i include this Load from QVD in the script.

month,year and Quarter gets syntehtic.

I tried Forced concatenate but does not work.

rename in load script,

month as (month1),

use a mastercalendar and define a datefield to connect to your different tables

Have you tried joining the tables and checking the info density in table viewer. this would help ascertain perhaps format issues, etc.

yes..

the problem also is the existing month is 01.02 format.. and the one which loads from QVD  is jan,feb,mar..

use the date# function to format the dates as you desire and your problem should be solved
